I have many years experience in therapeutic work with people in group, couple and one to one settings.
I trained in shiatsu in 1998 and now practice and teach shiatsu professionally. I am the Vice Principal of the Bristol School of Shiatsu, where I support the running of the school. I offer shiatsu sessions, tutorials and supervision in my practice.
I began training in psychoanalytic group therapy in 2000 and have run groups of various sorts since then, including group therapy and after-care groups whilst managing Chandos House addiction Rehab.
In 2002 I trained with the Man Kind project; a rites of passage organisation, working with men of all ages to encourage authenticity, accountability and integrity in themselves, and to cultivate dignity and respect in and for the world. I am no longer an active member within MKP; however, I continue to support deeper and safer facilitation with some members of the wider MKP community
In 2006 I began training in Shadow Work, I certified in 2009. I am no longer certified in Shadow work, though my therapeutic practice is influenced by my involvement and training in this approach.
I am a BACP registered gestalt psychotherpaist, with an M.A in individual and group psychotherapy from the London Gestalt Centre.
I also worked as a registered therapist for the Rainbow Program, supporting adults healing from sexual and physical abuse.
I am a fully registered and insured member of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS).
I am under mentor-ship and supervision in my various therapeutic disciplines.
